Sandy Springs is located in Fulton county, and its boundaries are Atlanta to the south, Cobb County to the west and north, Roswell to the north, Dunwoody and Brookhaven to the east. It’s most notable for Pill Hill, the largest medical center in Georgia and includes Northside Hospital, St. Joseph’s Hospital and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Sandy Springs became incorporated in 2005 and was the third-largest city ever to incorporate in the U.S. The city also boasts 16 parks and greenspaces totaling over 950 acres of park land. The western 60% of Perimeter Center Business District is located in Sandy Springs and some of its largest employers are IBM, Cox Enterprises, Cisco Systems, Inc., Airwatch, Oracle, AT&T Mobility and United Parcel Service.
